Product Innovation Experts Robert Cooper and Scott Edgett Nominated for 2013 Maurice Holland Award
ANCASTER, ONTARIO CANADA (July 17, 2013) - Stage-Gate International is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Cooper and Dr. Scott Edgett have been nominated for the 2013 Maurice Holland Award. The award, given by the Research-Technology Management Board of Editors and the Industrial Research Institute, is presented to the author of the best article from the previous year’s volume of Research-Technology Management.
Dr. Cooper and Dr. Edgett have been nominated for their article “Best Practices in the Idea-to-Launch Process and Its Governance”, which reports the results of an American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) and Product Development Institute (PDI) study of 211 businesses and their performance metrics and practices. In their research, Dr. Cooper and Dr. Edgett provide insights into the best practices in both the idea-to-launch process and its governance that are strongly connected to positive innovation performance.
